We need someone to:
- Operates all equipment in an efficient manner supporting construction and road maintenance services and activities
- Actively supports safety culture by operating equipment and tools in a safe manner reporting all near misses and incidents to management in a timely fashion
- Conducts pre-operational checks to established procedure reporting to Fleet Maintenance when necessary
- Operates a variety of heavy equipment such as backhoes, dozers, loaders, mills, light equipment, and graders in all weather conditions/environments for construction, maintenance, and road works
- Haul gravel, clays and assorted road topping materials
- Operate varying truck combinations: Tandem, Belly Dump, End Dump, and Live Bottom
- Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment : Mechanical Aptitude a Requirement
- Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to think problems through; where applicable, identifies and suggests improvements enhancing job quality.
- Interacts in a professional, courteous and respectful manner that contributes toward a positive and productive worksite

You should have:
- 5+ years Heavy equipment experience
- Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol policy requirements

- Must be self-motivated and organized
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physical labor in all-weather conditions
