bringing work to members, while saving companies money and time looking for opportunities. The LCA works hard to ensure members have access to resource tools needed, and are aware of opportunities to grow their companies.

One of the LCA’s passion is working with the local communities, members and 7 local School Divisions, to promote the trades to over 1400 of our Youth, focusing on Trades as a first choice of careers.

Our Not for profit association membership includes, Builders, Owners, Consultants, not for profit organizations and local companies wanting to be involved with an industry that supports their businesses.

The Lloydminster Construction Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1979 to provide commercial and industrial contractors opportunities to share project information. Today we share project tender information on the AB electronic Plansroom; BuildWorks Canada. Working in partnership with 7 Alberta Local Construction Associations in the province, we specialize in serving the unique needs of the Lakeland/Lloydminster Region of Alberta, and the Midwest region of Saskatchewan.

(The LCA is located in the City of Lloydminster, Canada’s only Border City – Directly on the AB and SK Border – Located on Yellowhead Highway 16 – 2 hours east of Edmonton, AB and 2 1/2 hours west of Saskatoon, SK.)

The LCA’s mandate, when formed, was to promote the highest possible standard of professionalism for its stakeholders. That mandate remains unchanged. However the industry has become infinitely more complicated and the scope and diversity of our services has grown to ensure we adequately service the entire ICI sector in our region. Our goal is to work on behalf of all companies involved in the construction industry; to promote the contributions and importance of the construction industry to our local and provincial economies.

Membership allows you to have a voice as there is strength in numbers. We provide a network for your professional and business needs. The LCA promotes the contributions and importance of the construction industry to our local and provincial economy. The LCA is a proud member of the Alberta Construction Association, Canadian Construction Association, we have Board members on the Alberta Construction Safety Association, and Saskatchewan Construction Association – Advisory Committee.
